Founded in 1990 by director Kevin Chu, the company first get involved in feature film with Kevin working as DOP for the movie "To Liv" which won a Golden Horse Award in Taiwan for best Actress. In the same year, Kevin produced and directed his first movie "My wife's lover".

In 1991, Kevin worked as Director, DOP and scriptwriter for "Love is a fairy tale" starring Aaron Kwok and Rosamond Kwan.

Our company went on investing in the China/Japan co-production of epic film “Sino-Dutch War 1661” and distributed the 40 episodes Chinese TV drama series “Da Han Tian Zi II” to Thailand.

In 2006, we co-invested and co-produced "Tangshan Tangshan" with Chinese partner. The film won the Best Film Award in Byron Bay Film Festival 2007. The theme song performed by Jacky Cheung was nominated for Best Film Song in the 2007 Golden Bauhinia Award.

This year, we produced the movie "I Sell Love" starring Chau Pak Ho, Rose Chan and Liu Kai Chi. The film is scheduled to be released in the coming autumn.

花火制作有限公司創立於1990年，91年開始參與電影制作，其後一直制作了不少電視廣告、MV、紀錄片等。合作過的知名藝人包括周潤發、蕭芳芳、曾志偉、謝霆鋒、容祖兒、郭富城、關之琳、任達華、劉嘉玲、楊千樺、林子祥等等，多年來曾制作過不少膾炙人口的廣告，在香港及國際間屢獲殊榮，由曾志偉及毛舜筠主演的清潔香港系列更獲得紐約國際電影電視節之銀獎榮譽。

除主力制作廣告外，更拓展影視產品制作及發行業務。2000年，參與投資中日合作，由吳子牛執導，趙文卓、蔣勤勤主演的史詩式鉅製《國姓爺合戰》( 內地名《英雄鄭成功》) 。2004年買下大型歷史劇《大漢天子II》的泰國版權並在當地發行。

2006年與中國唐山電視台合作，為紀念唐山地震30周年，制作了電影故事片「但願人長久」，獲得2007年澳洲「拜倫灣電影節」最佳電影大獎。《但》片亦獲邀參加英國百特福國際電影節、意大利羅馬獨立電影節、加拿大溫尼佰國際電影節、多倫多ReelHeART國際電影節等多個國際影展。由張學友主唱之同名主題曲獲提名香港金紫荊獎之最佳電影歌曲。

2014年12月上映由周柏豪、廖啟智、陳嘉桓主演的電影《販賣．愛》，獲得Indian Cine Film Festival -14 「最佳電影﹣評審團大獎」、巴塞隆拿電影節「最住剪接」。

《販》更入圍多個國際電影節，包括：香港亞洲電影節、紐約獨立電影節、美國哈林國際電影節、馬貝拉國際電影節等。
